Tiny Tim is not a pure bred Dartmoor pony, but one of the many ponies that breed and live on Dartmoor, a very high moor above Plymouth, in the South west of England. The story is about how he came to be a family pet and one of his adventures with his friend Minstrel when they escaped from their field.
